I was so suprised to find that John was living just 1 hr away after we moved to Childress, TX. I was fortunate to be able to spend time with him on several occasions. He was still the same sweet, funny guy he had always been. The last time we saw John, we had lunch with him at a local cafe, he was on oxygen 24/7, but still optomistic about his life. I will really miss him and think of him every time I drive through Clarendon. RIP my buddy.
